Details of Disappearance

30 Year Old Phillip Wesley Sheridan went ocean fishing in a 16' outboard boat on August 17th, 1973 and was never heard from again. His wife contacted the Coast Guard at 7:30am the next morning. The Coast Guard began searching and came upon Phillip's boat floating 1.5 miles off Bethany Beach, Delaware. The engine cover was removed from the engine which suggested mechanical failure. Phillip's Wallet and Glasses were found on board the boat. The Incident was reported to Delaware State Police on October 1, 1973. Phillip has not been seen or heard from since.
