Details Of Disappearance
78 Year Old Mary Elizabeth Dietz was last seen at her residence on Lantern Lane in Selbyville, DE at 3:30 am on her porch waiting for the morning newspaper. Mary suffered from Alzheimer's Disease and was often seen in a disoriented state as a result of her condition. Neighbors often witnessed her digging through the dumpster behind her house. A possible explanation as to Mary's disappearance is that she crawled into a dumpster and was taken to a landfill. Subsequent searches of the local landfill came up with nothing at the time. Foul Play is not suspected.
